Problem Getting Game to not update
 

OK, so getting stuck on the shortcut part. Every time i make the shortcut, it takes me to the official EQ updater and pathces, QQ. The noobie guide for getting started states this:

Step 4 - Creating the Shortcut
I'm assuming you know how to make a shortcut on the desktop.

Make a new shortcut, I recommend you do it on the desktop, but where ever you want is fine.
The Target should be '"C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest\eqgame.exe" patchme'

That is it for getting on, now you need a login server account.

When i make the shortcut i make the target "C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest\eqgame.exe" and i dont know where in that heading i'm supposed to put "patchme" in. Can someone clarify please?

also, it keeps saying "please run everquest.exe" when i try to use the self made shortcut and nothing else happens
