Was thinking, is there a way to remove the race class restrictions.. eg. Gnome monk ect ect, if there is a way how? if there isnt a way could there be?

Run the querry:

UPDATE items SET classes = 65535;
UPDATE items SET races = 65535;

Just be aware this means that gnomes can wear things like large platemail and Ogres can wear small cloth robes :)

Pretty sure he meant for character selection, and no, theres no way because the client has it hard coded. (Although you can change your base race through gm commands).
