KoS merhcants?
 
I was under imrpession that merhcants are never KOS even if you are kos to the faction they belong too.
this is how it was on life for a while (prety mcuh since kunark) and this how it was on Emu about a year ago.. however I just made a merchant NPC and he attacked me.... ideas what is wrong?

IIRC, merchants could be KoS on live. There used to be a DE in WFP in a tunnel behind a hidden wall out in the courtyard where noobie kill at. I know for sure that he was dubious to many races, but I am almost positive I have been attacked by him before (maybe on an iksar or something).

well i am looking at a non-kos merchant right now who is on KOS faction.
simply make a paladin in qeynos and go to Bloodsabers guilds- they all will be kos but their vendors will be dubious

so apparently there is some settign which determines whenever merchant follows this rule or not...


UPDATE: i think i figured this one out- if Merchant does NOT have a vendor sell list - it will be KOS , otherwise it will dubious =)
