Hey guys. Someone reported this today, and I'm not quite sure where the problem lies. However, I was able to recreate it. I'm putting it here because I think it was tied to the recent change to the way item prices were calculated.

Here's the steps to recreate it:

1.) Find Talem Tucter in ThurgadinA (or spawn him elsewhere; it isn't zone specific)
2.) Have only 5400 platinum on you.
3.) Try to buy a stack of Velium Bars.

The price for a stack is 5656 platinum and some change, but you won't get the message that you can't afford them. Instead, you'll get no response at all, and your UI will freeze. You will have to relog in order to fix it.

Is there anything we can attribute this to? I know there has been some recent work with vendors, and I was wondering if there's something in the code that can be cleaned up. Thanks for any help, guys, and hopefully this helps a bit.
