How to run EQ Emu?

i download the EQ Titanium Version but how to run it? Anyone can explain it to me in German pls? My english isnt the best so it would be easier.

Most of us aren't versed in dealing with any downloaded copies of the game, as we can only support purchased software here; we can't in any way support illegal downloads.

Once you get the game purchased and installed, however, the directions are pretty easy to follow. I'm sorry that I can't do any sort of translation, but we can probably help you if you have trouble.

Are you sure you got Titanium? Titanium was a disc install.

They (SOE) got all those versions available for digital download, Titanium digital will give you the Titanium expansions, but really is not like the disk version since the DL version is all updated so it works with Live.

So with this Digital i cant play?...

I haven't tried it, but my guess would be no. The emu is currently based off the unpatched version of Titanium that comes from the discs. A digitally downloaded copy would have all the current patches, including the opcodes, and probably won't work with the emu. Best thing to do is get a disc version of it.

I bought the digital download a while back for anniversary to see if it would be an option for the future of the emulator. I was hoping that it gave a large file download for that expansion. Instead, the only way I could find to download it was using SoEs new patcher program, which will patch completely to live. So no, the digital downloads definitely will not work unless there is a link to an actual set download that I missed other than using the patcher.
