need more help!
 

i got the db in the bin finally but how do i start the mysql up i tryed clicking it and it gives me arror 2003 and disappears:mad:

First you need to create a database in mysql. Open winmysqladmin and click on the 'database' tab. Right click in the area and tell it to create a database, i usually name it eq so its easier. Then open mysql.exe. Type in: use eq (or your database name you just created). Then type: source db.sql - alot of lines will zoom by, that is normal :) When it gets done you can close it.
Hope this helps, been a month or 2 since I have messed with a database seeing as i uninstalled everything, heh :p

Also, what does the error say? I don't know the errors by numbers ;)

So, did you do anything other than copy the db file into the directory?

BUT wait my eqw is laggy as heck .. yes yes yes i changed the datarate to 10.0 any other tips?

I always kept my datarate at 5.0, never had a problem on it. I don't know much on EQW though
