Updating...
 

Just curious. I need to know if I am updating correctly. This is what I am doing.

downloading the peq database from CVS.

then opening up cmd

going to the folder e:\peq_db (download folder) is

connecting to mysql

changing the database to peqdb

(I think the database I am using is e:\peqdb) if so, would I just copy over the file from peq_db to peqdb and the changes would be made in the game? I am not one to try things without knowing because I have done a lot of custom content and I dont want to lost any of it.

sourcing the files in the updates folder that was downloaded from CVS

...not using the one named peqdb_1129Rev###.sql.gz (correct?)

this would be updating the database I am actually using right (the e:\peqdb or the one in mysql)? or is it just updating the files in the download folder?

I am mostly asking because I read the change log from the peq site and it says stuff about there being AA additions to certain classes. Yet I see none in the EQ AA window. I think I am missing something. anyhow, any help would be nice. since I am still a noob at this and feel kinda lost.
