the loginserver is NOT GPL. there is one files that is GPL and that can be found in my last news post.

It depends on the license really. GPL is not the best license to use and here is a case of where it works against the intention of the project instead of helping Open Source.

Given that, this is not a major issue with no resolution. There are several ways to deal with this and should not be considered a deal killer.

I would suggest that in the future, LGPL be used instead of the more restrictive GPL. Or look at the many other OSI options that exist that will still qualify the project as Open Source without adding unintentional encumberances.
