i ld when i start the fight
 

Hello,
i would like to know if you have the same pb.
When i start the fight with a mob, i LD whenever about 5sec after.
is it only natural?
Of course i LD always when i zone.
Pls if could help me, it's cool )

mabey change your datarate.txt in the
eq directory from 5.0 to 10.0
This was the suggestion made to me by Morpheus
that fixed my ld problem. (BTW this helped me playing on my local server, If you are playing on someone elses server this may not help.)

that is pretty weird I assume you are on the latest eq code. Also If you are using a pre-populated database(like lurkers awsome db...)
You might try the original db.sql that came with the emu, If you are getting the eqmessages error
see the "Immediate LD" discussion to get the
eqmessages.sql and then try just spawning 1 monster. See if it still happens. Also does this happen if you create a completely different
character in a differet zone?

So by you saying other server, I assume you are playing online? If so, you should change the data rate back. This may not help unless you are playing on localhost or have a really
fast connection, at least thats what I have been
told in other threads in this forum.
