Red Sky in Old Lavastorm
 

I am trying to make it so that when using the old lavastorm that the sky is bright red just like plane of fear. I tried changing skytype as well as deleting all references to lavastorm in the weather.ini file and am not having any luck.

Can anyone be of help?

try this and tell me if this works:

set sky to 0 (no sky texture)
then set color of fog to Red= 255 and blue and green to 0

logicly this should paint sky into color of fog which in this case should be bright red

It does but its like a dark red fog, its not the bright red that plane of fear has. Plane of fear is also using sky type 5....changing lavastorm to a sky type other than 0 makes it a blueish sky with stars and such

well from I have seen the sky texture is hardcoded into zone files
you can either set it to be default texture or set it to 0 and just play with fog color - from my experiments you cannot give zone sky any other texture than the default
