Hmm...another problem
 

now this is probably because im using zoneNT on windows 98 SE but since other people gave got it to work...i can load my char up but as soon as i see the HUD it says "you have been disconnected"...anyone know what could be causing this? heres my info

also i tryed renaming zonent to zone9x and loading it with boot5zoneswin9x but it still didnt work

First, your missing 4 lines at the bottom of loginserver.ini

this is not all of it.. re-extract the 0.3.4 loginserver.ini and set it up again.

Secondly, the fact your using zoneNT on win98 is probably your problem. zoneNT was not ment for win9x systems (thats why there is a zone9x.exe in all the other releases). 0.3.4 did not come with a zone9x.exe because none of the devs have a win9x system to test it on.

I thought u said u were using ZoneNT.. if this is your real boot5zones.bat file, then your not using 0.3.4. your using 0.3.3.1 which does not work with latest patch.

err i tried renaming the zonent to zone9x and loaded the boot5zoneswin9x.exe heh, well i fixed the name thing... people have said they used 3.4 or whatever it is...oh yeah, im not trying to connect to other peoples servers...just trying to connect to my own.,...ill still try and go change the loginserver though

well it seems redoing the database in mysql fixed my problem...yay :D thanks alot for all your help guys

hmm got it working but went LD with in a couple minutes..tryed to log back on booted me to server select... lol oh well

Don't bother trying to use ZoneNT.exe on windows 98. it wont work =P
