Invalid PW all of a sudden
 

what does one do to correct this issue?

read the threads around here there are plenty on the matter. you can't fix it, just have to wait, it will probably come back up again later today.

wait for the login server to be reset, as it's bugged. everyone, i imagine, trying to log in right now (myself included) is receiving the error or incorrect password.
i know it's frustrating, be patient, it will eventually get fixed...

i recommend www.Youtube.com, watch a 5-10 minute music video, or something of interest.. try agian... wash, rinse, repeat

if you see invalid account / password, its going to be longer then 5-10 mins. if you see timeouts, it could randomly let you in.

i wouldn't get your hopes up, dont sit there and hammer at it when its giving you the invalid account/pw message.

yes, i don't mean to say you will have to wait only 5-10 minutes... it could be hours.. but i have no idea when window of non-service started.. and when it will end... i might only be 10 minutes from a reset.. if the outtage started 3 hours ago.... so i check every 5-10 minutes... just to make sure.
