Can't run eqlaunch.exe
 

I have installed and configured eqemu but I can't seem to get eqlaunch.exe to run. I can start PrivateLogin, start world.exe which loads all of the rules fine and connects to the login server, but "start eqlauncher.exe zone" results in:

'The system cannot execute the specified program.'

If I browse out to my c:\eqemu directory in explorer and just double click on eqlauncher.exe I get the message:

'The application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix the problem'

Now, the eqemu server and all of the maps/quests/db I downloaded a few days ago and got them working on a small underpowered laptop I was using as an initial test server. I got the server up and running, connected to it and was able to run around the EQ world for a while killing mobs and gaining XP. But, while trying to install this on a bit beefier Windows 2003 server which I want to use for live playing, I am running in to this error.

I don't even know where to look to diagnose this problem. I have removed and reinstalled the software, rebuilt the database, checked and rechecked my configuration but I just don't know where to go from here. Any hints or things I can look at?

Thanks for a VERY nice EQ server by the way.

I think installing the latest version of the .NET framework will fix that problem with eqlaunch.

sigh.... I knew I was missing something stupidly simple. Thanks for taking me by the hand and helping me cross the street... =)
