Anyone suggest a classic server?
 

I'm looking to get that old timey feel, when I used to sit in EC tunnel selling crap. Of course, I don't expect people to be their anymore, but I want that Pre Luclin feel.

Which servers are stuck in 2001? (I also would like to NOT have to have the same slow level gain)

Classic-Progression (Kunark open), Some Custom Content, Fast Exp 1-50 (not like 5x fast, but faster).

VZTZ is a progressive PvP Server that is currently in the classic stage, and will never see an expansion past Velious. We are upgrading our server hardware in the comming weeks to accommodate our growing community (one of, if not the largest on EQEMU).

Edit: XP is about 3x, 2 Connections per IP, and absolutely zero MQ tolerance.

Project1999 is in beta atm and will have content up to and including Velious over time, however we are aiming for live like leveling which includes hybrid and racial xp penalties. So it may not be for you.

I'd like to second Project 1999. My roommate and I have been on there for a couple months now, and have been having a lot of fun.

I understand your concern with slow leveling, but, in my experience, a classic server operating with increased xp rates is a short lived server. The content of classic was not designed to be played through so quickly and kills a server off.
