a little help here

i do everything right but when i start eqgame.exe it says please run EverQuest.exe what do i do to get pass this

check the readme, it says run "eqgame.exe patchme" or run eqw.exe

a copy and paste form part 1 of the readme:

5. Load up EverQuest using EQW or the "patchme" method.
eqw: http://www.eqwindows.com
patchme: Load up EverQuest (eqgame.exe) with the command line "patchme"
(without quotes i.e "C:\Program Files\EverQuest\eqgame.exe patchme")
