Account Status Issue
I updated to the 0.3.4 server a few weeks ago and ran EQAdmin. I made my account ServerOP so I could actually control stuff or whatever, just like any other server host would do. Anyway, I know it was buggy, and I just recently got 0.3.5. I gotta say, nice job guys. Anyway, when I try to run EQAdmin (this is not in the third party forum b/c I will not necessarily receive replies about EQAdmin) to change my status of the account on my 0.3.5 database, I get a zone_server error, or something like that, when I first run EQAdmin. I forget all about it and then proceed to change my status to ServerOP/200. When I click commit, I get an error about the data not being able to be written on a closed database or something.
My question: Is there any possible way to switch my account to value 200 (ServerOP status) either directly in the database, some other program, or in EQ? Appreciate any reply. Thanks in advance. |
you can do it (if you run EQW, or even if you dont by exiting) by hitting run on your start menu, then typeing command, in there type cd c:\eqemu (or wherever your eqemu dir is), and type world.exe flag **account name** 200
*edit*.. ermm that is assuming you are running windows 9x :-P, i dono bout 2k and xp n stuff :p hope that helps |
It works the same on all windows platforms.
EQadmin is broken for accounts because of a new field in the accounts table. |
