Newb question: Which files do i need to download to run the
 

Do i just need the four 3.6 files posted on news page ,eqw and mysql? or are there others i need as well?

To play on others server's you just need Everquest and a changed eqhost.txt.

To run your own server, you need the 3.6 files, MySQL, db files, and a minilog to run a solo server.

Where do I get the mysql? I think I have everything else but I dont seem to have that. And dies it take any inbtelegence or skill to host your own server? Because I'm usually a moron even though I try =/

Yes, it "dies" take "inbtelegence" to run your own server. Or at least run it properly, I suggest just joining servers others have made.

Ya dont have to get after me about the typos, I'm sorry for having a couple broken fingers and having to type with one hand, but I dont allways have time to check for mystakes.

But if my comupter is able I would like to at least attmept to host my own, even if that attempt is ill fated.
