Hmm wierd probs with 3.6
 

Been a long time since i actally had to post with a problem!

here is what i get when trying to connect to either the server here...or mini login.

not sure what im doing wrong here.

Open up your DB with EQAdmin tool and under accounts where it says name put eqemu under password put eqemu and where it says is_account put 1.
That worked for me also dont forget in your addon.ini file in your eqemu directory change maxclients from -1 to some positive number ie 500. If you get any datarate error messages make sure that in your everquest directory the datarate.txt file is set to 10.0 . Also read the readme.txt with minilogin as you need to delete two lines in your loginserver.ini file.
I've now managed to successfully login and create a char but on logging into the world from the create char screen I am now being dumped back to server select which could be due to a number of reason. IE latest patch, Zone CFG Files, the database Im using blah blah blah.

Why are you using worldserver?

Last time i checked image had to run things in this order (to run own server)

Minilogin/Public login
World.exe
Zone.exe

(or no mini login if using the login servers here)

Strangly enough logged in fine this morning. now i get a new error. its interesting as i have spells_en.txt in my emu directory....

If this is the last message you see, you forgot to move spells_en.txt from your
EQ dir to this dir.
Spells loaded.

Its not the last thing you see, the last thing you see is 'spells loaded'

I think the logic there is a little goofy, but it looks like its loading fine to me.

yep yep finaly got it working this morrning (didnt change crap). rather odd. maybe i smoked 1 too many bongloads lasnight or somthing.

Anyway works great guys! zoning works FLAWLESSLY. somthing i could never say before (would go ld every now and again before when zoning *used* to work*)
