Problem Logging in
 

I have recently changed my EQ files to match those of EQemu's specifications. Still having a small problem, after typing in my password and user name into the EQ log in screen, i get the prompt " Logging into Server, please wait..." and this message will last for awhile, the longest I've sat and waited for it to change has been about 10 minutes, and i assume it will go on longer then that. Any suggestions or some way to fix this problem?

Are you using the eqgame.exe? And not the actual Everquest.exe? Because I used to have this problem because I didn't know I had to use the eqgame.exe. The eqgame.exe would be the eqemu game, and the Everquest.exe would be the live version of the game.

My guess is that it is looking for the login server and not finding it. I assume you have the login server running? Or are you talking about the public login server, if so then your eqhost.txt file is suppose to be set to new.eqemulator.net:5998
