mobs not attacking and not allowing you to attack
 

so i just started up a server that im gonna test and build on as i wait for my parts to come in for the comp to run it and while in game i noticed you cant attack any mobs nor will the mobs attack you even once forced with #damage # so i was wondering if maybe someone might know a way in which to fix this and clue me in lol

You're probably missing the map files, or have them in the wrong place.

my maps are all in the correct repositories c:\eqemu\maps

Had the same problem, check the folder again and make sure there isn't a maps folder inside the maps folder. WinRAR screwed me up on that.
