EQemu on iPhone?
Hello guys
I want to know if nobody can implement the Old EverQuest on the iPhone, i think that its posible (there are a number of games that are about to see this be possible like Gangstar, Ravensword, Dungeon Hunter, CoD Zombies, Driver, N.O.V.A, Avatar.. and too many more), but im not a developer and i dont know enything about it. This is just an idea for the EQemu Team. GL _) |
There is a way to play eq, or to control simple functions through the iphone. But you have to have it running on your cpu and control simple functions with the iphone. I forget how it was done, i read up on it some where, when i get home i will post the link.

Wouldn't be legal.

You could try TightVNC, and there are plenty of iPhone apps that support VNC. Also, same goes for Android Phone users. |
If you phone is NOT jailbroken, then the client files would have to be distributed on the app store (which wouldnt happen). Distributing these there would be warez, and open you up for legal action. Only sony may distribute the files.
If your phone IS jailbroken, then you are already in copyright violation according to apple. See: http://www.copyright.gov/1201/2008/r...ple-inc-31.pdf Short of you getting an app in the app store that allowed you to sync to a PC and then install EQ to your phone via the discs its not legal. So... like I said, wouldn't be legal, or would at least open you up for a lawsuit. |

VNC is basically RDP, except you are logging into an existing user account. |

I doubt Apple is too worried about people installing jailbroken apps on their phone, especially if they're not available in the itunes store and aren't malicious. |
