What does this mean?

It might mean a lot, from db error to network problem. Hard to tell based on this log only.

That has been happening on my server as well but it happens from multiple ip addresses....I tried blocking the ip's at the router but that doesn't stop it from occuring so not sure what to do about it.
Honestly it looks like someone is port probing in an attempt to find an opening but I have no evidence to support that claim. So until something more happens I am going to wait and see. |
I started to get the same thing, from the same IP as well.

I noticed this too. It's just port checking - and can be malicious if they get through. I spent one evening looking at the whereis dns, and they come from all over the world -- that the reason for having a firewall/router!

Mine is allways the same IP. Limestone Networks is the ISP somewhere in the Dallas area.
