Linux server setup guide
 

I have done some searching around, and can find some nice guides to setting up a server on windows, but I want to run it on my Linux box, and I can't find anywhere the tarball source, or a guide to installing/running/configuring on Linux. Could someone point me in the right direction? Just for information, I am quite a bit of a Linux newbie, and will need a detailed setup guide.. in case there is more then one.
