Keep getting booted to Login Screen
 

Hey ,
I Enter My Login and password, Then I select a server and I wait for it to load and soon as everything is Loaded and I'm getting ready to see the character select screen .. Poof .. All of a sudden I am back at Login Screen.


Anyone Help Me correct This or shed light on whats happening????

The FAQ in my sig might be of some help. Sounds like you most likely either have a multi-core cpu issue or you are running the wrong version of the client.

Heres the weird thing .. I was just On about 4 hours ago.. the only thing I did different was load some spell files and put them in EQ Dir. Is It possible they could create this problem?

Yes, spell files can cause that problem, I believe. If you are using a spell file for Titanium only while running SoF, it will cause issues like that, since spell files are not backwards compatible. I assume that other spell file issues could cause that same problem on Titanium clients as well.

I went through ALL the affinity and compatibility settings, drivers, etc. If it was recommended on this thread, I did it.

Full uninstalls and reinstalls, computer restarts. Every possible setting.

In the end, it was a network issue. As soon as I unplugged and replugged my router, it worked great.

The last guy to post this from his logs tipped me off:

I had the same message in my dbg.txt.

And that's when I noticed that I had actually missed one of the suggestions: restarting one's router.

I want to make it abundantly clear that this is a possible solution that can in and of itself solve this exact issue.

i can get to the character select screen, then 100% disconnect rate. i started this morning, played for a couple hours, logged off, and now i can't log back on. I tried just about everything i could in these posts, and i still got nothing. Please someone help. Oh, I read the FAQ.

Does this happen on every server, or just 1 in particular?
