Shortcut - Patching Help
 

I tried searching and couldn't seem to find an answer to my issue. I changed the host file and updated the shortcut like instructed. Even so, when I run the shortcut the EverQuest patcher thing pops up wanting to update the patcher.

Does anyone have any idea as to what I'm doing wrong? I say no that I don't want to patch and it exits...

My guess is that you are missing the patchme or you are targeting the wrong file.

The shortcut target line should look something like this: "C:\Program Files (x86)\EverQuest\eqgame.exe" patchme

If the game patched to live even for a second you will want to delete it and reinstall Everquest otherwise you may encounter more problems.
