Log on Problems
 

Okay i am using the Secrets of Faydwer disk load, made the account and server thing, then i loaded eq-SOF and had it put a shortcut for me on the desktop, then i changed the eqhost.txt and the shortcut target i changed to add the patchme and verified that there were no extra spaces afterwards, then it says im good to play so i clicked the shortcut on the desk top and it said it downloading the launchpad, and it did a file check and load graphics etc and brought up the user agreement page and says do i wanna use existing account or create new one, so i choose existing, then i went to put in my account id/pw and it says this is not a invalid username or password, with the forum log on and with the LS server log in username and password it says you do not have an eq subscription then please register for eq.. where did i go wrong, im confused:shock:

You probably didn't change the shortcut from everquest.exe to eqgame.exe

Wowwww thanks man, i cant believe i missed it, reading too fast and i just picked everquest.exe instead of eqgame.exe, it works fine now, off to make my own server and figure out how to log into it and start playing, thanks!!!!:-D :-D
