CSHome <----stuck
 

I'm a real big dork, last night after getting my GM account working, I decided. Hmm maybe I should go look at that CSHome zone that I've never been in!

So I type #zone CShome like a fark nut and, my EQ crashed, durr because I dont have the zone.

Now I dont feel like re-summoning all the items I had. Does anyone have the CSHome zone I can d/l? Or is there some way for me to pluck my character out of there?

I'd also like to ask how to get the latest database. I search on some other people's database and they have the latest stuff, like Yttrium gear and etc but when I try to look it on my server. I dont have it =/. I'm guessing those folks have the 3.7 database or something.

Also, I'd like to ask about the #search command, everytime I use it anywhere. I get lagged out and booted. Is there anyway to stop this from happening often?

Hehehe another question. I have the PoP files but I can't seem to zone into PoP from my server yet I can in Image's server. How can I.....enable PoP? hehe

We do not give out cshome because it belongs to verant and not ours to give out. If this was on your server, just make another char (under yours) and type the #movechar command (with the proper arguments for your other char) and log him back in. If it was someone elses server, then just ask a ServerOP of that server to movechar you.

There should be a Planes.sql in the pop files.. you need to source that in before you can use PoP.

If it belongs to Verant, why do other GMs have it ?
I mean they have to have some way of getting it.

Easy to say why someone has cshome... Either they have been a guide, or a guide has given it to them :)

Back, years ago now, when I used to actually play eq I would hear from time to time of people getting summoned to cshome and locked in a room there to be punished for being naughty. How did they do this if nobody but, guides had the zone files ?

WAAAAAAAAAAAAY back when it was patched out to everyone (OOOPS).

and the room you speek of is the same thing that happend to his char...OPPS no zone files now you cant play that toon....then the gm would just move yer char outta that zone at a later time
