Dark Elf map doesn't issue

Whenever I'm in town it works fine but when I enter the forest the map doesn't follow where I'm at. What can I do to fix it?

So that should make my map work? I'm talking about the actual map ( M ). Its just odd when it works on different people and not where I'm at. That post talks about people who fall out of the zone and I fixed that.
