the 3.7 zone.exe...
 

i dono why.. but for some reason, every time i open boot5zones.bat... after each zone pops up and starts loading.. each one of them preform an illegal error and must be shut down....you know.. "This program has preformed an illegal error and must be shut down, if the problem presists please contact the program's vender" blah blah blah, then i have to push close or details.. you know one of those things.... anyway, this prevents me from runnin my own server ... and its the zone.exe them selves that are causeing the error, not the boot5zones.bat, that works ok..

anyone know the cause? or how to fix it?? this has never happend before in any recent versions, just with the recent 3.7. i dono what to do :confused:

Try using the boot5zones.bat from patch 0.3.6 I read that there was some thing wrong with it in patch 0.3.7 so I never updated that file, and it still works. :p

hehe its not the boot5zones.exe that is the problem, its the zone.exe its self, boot5zones.exe works just fine... what im askin is would it cause problems if i were to use the zone.exe from 3.6?... seems that everyone that trys to log into my server, right where they would normaly enter world, they crash, so im guessing its causeing some kind of errors :-P

Yes it would cause lots of problems (not to mention you would lose every one of 0.3.7's features).

hehe ive tried that plenty of times, noone really seems to know much about it, (either that or they really like ignoring me ;))... have any idea what could be causeing these errors?

Not from what i can tell so far...

Post your Loginserver.ini, boot5zones.bat files, what OS your on, if you have, and what type of Router, firewall, and Proxy.

did you remember to DROP your old database and source the new 0.3.7 DB in before you ran the EQemu files?

Also post the last line of spells_en.txt

bah... again just another stupid mistake, it was the spells_en that was causing the errors, thanks alot guys :D
