I'm having pretty much the same problem. I'm running windows 7 64 and I've tried everything; windowed modes, resolutions, compatibility, administrative access, editing eqclient.ini... I really can't figure this out.

I installed Titanium cleanly, followed all the directions, and have been looking for answers, but alas, nothing!

PS. my computer is pretty rockin', so I'm sure it's just an error somewhere where the game just doesn't like win7.

Okay, well, sorry for the double-post, but I figured out a temporary solution until I can understand why it's not running normally. I think I need the dual-core fix, but I cannot (no matter when I try) edit the Affinity.

Anyway, I'm playing through WinEQ2, which seems to work perfectly.

I use this batch file on Vista to run EQ on the second core of my dual core Intel CPU.

eq2.bat
Code:

start /AFFINITY 02 eqgame.exe patchme

That fixed my problem outright! Thanks for that info Derision.
