Recruiting a team, for a brand new server.
 

Hello, I was the lead developer for the "CrimsonTempestEmu" server, it was successful in its time, but I have no desire to continue with it.

I have a brand new idea, I'd like to start constructing a world as soon as possible. If you would be interested in this, send me a PM and we can discuss the idea.

Please, no first timers.

Give me a list of your experience with the programs used to operate and update a server.

Give me 5 simple ideas for a quest, the lore behind a zone, a single group mob event, or a 12 man mob event.

Loved Crimson when I started playing, too bad it was about when it died out. Would love to see another one up and going. Also, tried posting on your forums but the spam there kills any topics made. Hope to see you around.

Just a word of warning about this guy.

He was made GM on a server before he did his own, made a complete mess of it and the server folded.
Made his own server what he calls sucessfull which lasted maybe a month while the donataions came in then pulled all support and let it die.

A few months later here we go again. Flame me if you like im just giving people a history lesson to help them avoid filling your pockets once more.

This doesn't look like a very well thought out server...

You gotta do your zones and map connects before mobs and quests. If you're not good at doing that, it's gonna feel like some bizarre duct tape server where it feels like normal EQ except Trakanon is sitting in the middle of oasis for no reason.

Create zones with themes, then do mob placement and quests.

badplayer, I see what he is asking for more as an idea behind what the potential applicant can do, as far as some up with content, more than how he is structuring things. But that's just how I'm seeing it.
