Databases and what to edit them with
Hi all I guess this is the right forum for my questions =)
1. What do you guys use to edit your databases with? Was told that even the latest Admin Tool 2.8 was a bit out of date? or at least not doing the job good enough. 2. Is it possible to use MS SQL Server for the databases? and if so how do I source the *.sql files? Because I got SQL Server 5.0 running on another computer for my web and ftp server. And Im a bit more familiar to using SQL Server. yes I was a n00b a week ago but Ive been running Fruktane's Server for a while now and know how some stuff works at least =) |

Mysql-front
|
Sadly the guy developing mysql-front has suddenly stoped work on it, and pulled the web page :(
The forums are still up, and there are links to the latest release. http://mysqlfront.venturemedia.de/ Best mysql GUI I know of IMHO Also use a good text editer to edit the sql dumps. www.ultraedit.com is my favorite. |
Visual Basic 6 comes with a tool I like, VisData. There's a standalone version that I haven't used, but found from a quick search. It's available here

You guys all know you can link MS Access against the Mysql databases and change it that way, right? Not very pretty, but it works just fine..
