9/26 patch?
 

Anyone? is it safe to update? Just wondering

Well, assuming you have two copies of EQ installed (You do have 2 copies right?), patch the live one, see what files were changed, back those up on the Emu copy and then copy the new ones over. If it works, leave them there. If it doesn't, copy the old files back.

i patched earlier today everything seems to be working just fine.

Thanks for the hostility. If you would have taken the time to patch it yourself instead of posting about it, you'd have had your answer a long time ago. It's not that hard to put a little effort in and I could give two shits how long you've been playing it.

I wasn's looking for a smartass to reply, i just wanted to know from someone that patched if it was ok, since i don't have the 3 gigs it would take to have 2 eq folders. :p

I wasn't trying to be a smartass, actually. I was just posting what I do. However, I hadn't gotten around to doing it yet with the patch so I coudn't give a yes or no. Then again, I don't use Live as my patch server. I pull all my patches from Test for Emu.

BTW, the latest patch on Test breaks 0.3.8 for me. So I'm guessing the next live patch will probably do the same.
