Graphic Issues
Greetings, i got a huge problem and i am getting frustrated since i cant find a fix for that.
I made a new Char in Qeynos and when i enter i see the Priest of Discord and some other NPCs. Those are rendered correctly but i don't see any buildings, water floor, ground and so on... I also tried installing the higher quality s3d files from the sticky and searched the forum for fixes but i couldn't find any. Hopefully anyone have an idea and can help me |
Î think i got problems with the Files in the Rendereffects Folder. Attached my dbg.txt:
Code:
2011-01-01 21:00:17 Starting EverQuest (Build Oct 31 2005 10:33:37) |
Changing some of these eqclient.ini settings may be worth a try:

[VideoMode] If fact, here is my entire Titanium eqclient.ini Code:

It looks like anything that is a db placement is loading but your zone is not. Check to make sure you have the zone files and that they are the correct size. I will post what Qeynos once I get back home and can pull up my client's folder.
BTW, what version of the client are you using? Titanium, SoF, SoD, UF, ect? |
The Zonefiles are there and iam using the Titanium Client on a Windows XP
|
Make sure you installed DirectX 9c, and you may want to try a fresh reinstall from the retail CDs after uninstalling and deleting the whole folder. Another suggestion would be to try getting support on the P99 forums, as they have some custom files and I don't know what odd effects those can cause offhand, but they might.
Also, I noticed in your screenshot, the MOTD asks, "Did you click a google"? Maybe you didn't click on enough google yet for the textures to load. |
Yeah iam using Directx9c.
LoL i might as well click some Google Ads :-P |
