error 1010 help...
 

Hello I am a newbie here.....I got this error 1010 problem.... I follow all the step correctly replacing the eqhost.txt. But I am ahving trouble connecting....can anybody help me. Sorry if this is already posted.

1010 - Solution
 

If you are getting 1010, delete everything in eqhost file, then make a simple eqhost.txt with only

eqlogin1.eqemu.net:5999

for example. Fixed that problem for me, but then I got 1002 wrong version which I guess is fixable by normal update, question is which is the correct version and what if you overupgrade.

Ok, normally connecting to verant and patching fixes the 1002 error.

Now I just got disconnected, didnt get to play yet, been some 12 hours at this, 4 hours just patching, but since I got through this time, theres hope.
