Storm Haven - New SoD (Live-Like) and TBS (Custom) Content
 

Kayen and I have been hard at work to bring new content to everyone on Storm Haven. The goal for most of this content is to provide high quality solo and small group content (as well as some new raid content) for the areas of level 65 to 80. Yes, the level cap is being increased to 80!

Kayen is currently working on releasing the entire Seeds of Destruction (SoD) expansion of content which will be a copy of EQ Live as close as possible with EQEmu. I am currently working on 7 new custom zones that are individual island zones from The Buried Sea (TBS) expansion.

Here are the details:

The first Tier of the Seeds of Destruction expansion is now released (Created by Kayen).

SoD Content Features:

• Live-Like SoD Content
• 4 New Zones - Oceangreen Hills, Oceangreen Village, Old Blackburrow, and Bertox Temple
• SoD Mini-Hub Zone - The Void - To provide access to the entire SoD expansion
• ~30 Tasks (group/solo/raid)
• Level increase to 76 via Quests.
• Dreadspire level gear + Armor Quest (group obtainable)
• New spells to go with the new level increases
• Higher level Mercs will be obtainable
• Some added custom content

The SoD content can be accessed via Laila, Herald of Druzzil`Ro in any of the Storm Haven Hub Zones.

There are still 4 more tiers of the SoD expansion to be released on Storm Haven, and Kayen is working on the next tier now. The entire SoD expansion reproduced as on Live will be released within the coming months. The first tier has been released for a couple of weeks now and most of the bugs/issues with it should now be worked out since it has been play tested quite a bit.

All 7 islands of The Buried Sea zone are now released and customized (Created by Trevazar).

TBS Current Content Features:

• 7 New Zones (each individual islands)
• New way to level to 75 by earning normal experience in these zones.
• Each zone between Maiden's Grave and Blacksail Folly will allow 1 level to be earned in that zone.
• Elegant Defiant Armor Set Tasks
• Elegant Defiant Weapon/Shield Quests - A nice upgrade between Epic 1.0 and 1.5 quality.
• Alternate Epic 1.5 Tasks
• Many named and bosses with loot up to the Tower of Solusek Ro gear level.

The TBS zones can be accessed via the Pirate Mystic in the Temple of Marr.

Here is the full list of TBS zones that are included:

1. Monkey Rock - 65-70 - Required level 65
2. Maiden's Grave - 70-71 - Required level 70
3. Redfeather Isle - 71-72 - Required level 71
4. Deadbone Reef - 72-73 - Required level 72
5. Jardel's Hook - 73-74 - Required level 73
6. Blacksail Folly - 74-75 - Required level 74
7. Suncrest Isle - 75 - Required level 75

All of the TBS zones and existing tasks and quests in them should now be fully functional. Now that they are opened, I plan to add further quests and tasks to each zone, and will most likely be doing some tweaking of the content.

Some of the future Quests and Tasks for the TBS zones include:

1. The Final Faydwer Relic (charm) upgrade Task
2. Orb of Coalescence and Bag of Coalescence Tasks
3. New Mount Task
4. New Illusion Task
5. First Nimbus Effect Task (shows a particle effect around your character)
6. TBS Power Source Task
7. Experience Quests for each Island
8. Augment Quests/Tasks for each Island

I will begin work on adding these and will update when they are all completed. I will also update this thread when further SoD tiers are released by Kayen.

I want to try this server out, the only download I found was the spell file, is there any others I need to run it? I'm using the SoD client.

Nope, the only custom file we have is the spell file. Since you have SoD, you should be all set :)
