MiniLogin 0.3.9.1 Release
 

Updated MiniLogin to use IP based authenication from MiniLoginAccounts.ini. Works with up to 200 accounts/IPs.If there's no match in the ini, it uses the usual eqemu/eqemu.

Example MiniLoginAccounts.ini:
192.168.0.1 Admin AdminPass
192.168.0.2 User1 User1Pass
192.168.0.3 User2 User2Pass

Is it possible to get this to work publicly, or are we stuck with a private 192.168.x.x LAN-only login server? A great program either way. Keep up the good work :)

You can use any IP address in the file of course. Public/Private, doesnt matter. Just has to be typed into MiniLoginAccounts.ini manually and wont work well with dualup/dynamic IP. Only limitation is the MiniLoginAccounts.ini file phraser wont read more than 200 lines.

Does'nt work for me though.
As soon as I put your mini login into my eqemu dir and boot up MiniLogin and World.exe (after configuring the minilogin.ini) I dont get a response from the server anymore in the eq client.

When I put the old minilogin back in the dir, it just works fine again...

Haven't tried it yet, but assuming it works as advertised, all I can say is, "VERY NICE".

when i try to see the new version,and run world.exe after new minilogin,i have got an error:bad version can anybody help me plz?

Well not shure whats wrong.. this is what my MiniLoginAccounts.ini looks like with the passwords changed..

not shure if thats wrong.. im not a programmer this is all new to me and kinda a trial and error thing.. I have everything working good with the old minilogin ver.. but would like to get some of the other computers on my network going if possible.

yes I know i am sorry.. This is my first time using anything like this.. and I had it working till I put in the new minilogin so thought that was the problem.. thats why I posted here.. then I figured out it was mysql that was messed up.. sorry for the confusion

Just curiousity, how hard would it be to authenticate via mysql? You already have it phrasing a .ini file....

lets just add wild char support so we can allow anyone to use the login or maybe just a tag to make it so anyone can use it. Such as * or *all*. (this could be in and I'm just retarded... in which case never mind and move on =p)
