Still playing this server and having a good time.
Xp rate seems solid enough to make me feel more apart of my character but still no huge grind. Once I am getting bored of camping an area I have leveled some and ready to move on, its great.
Almost 50 and fairly constant pvp action. Especially if I am looking for it.
Has spurts in population, very true.
Many cheaters have been banned which is great.

Might I add the Devs seem great so far. Interactive in game a decent amount. Always on the cheaters butts, constant updates/fixes. Also this server seems like its going to stay around a long time so your character would not be wiped!

Everytime i go to join and it never goes to char select. Is SoD not useable there?

It is not "shut down" it is offline while it is being patched. Should be up later today or tomorrow.
