disconnected during character creation screen
 

I've seen some posts about this, but none with a solution that worked for me.
I join a server, the game loads the world, and when i get to the character creation screen i dont even have time to create one as it disconnects in some seconds.
I've tried in different servers and also tried changing datarate.txt from 5.0 to 9.0, but does no effect.
Any solutions to this?

I had that problem a few days ago, still have it somewhat now but not as bad. What I did was make a character as fast as I could putting stats into the closest button then getting name and finished making him/her. Also tried this at diffrent times of the day but after maybe 20 tries I finally got a character I could enter the world with without goin linkdead. I thought it was my dial up at first, still not sure what causes it but if you can make a character really fast and actually log into the world it's great. Good luck trying though I sure had "fun" trying to create at first. I'm sure you all can get in eventually.

Just have patience is my advice.
