The Operation Timed out
 

I continue to get this error. I am first time to project 99. I have red the FAQ and followed all instructions. I have made sure my eqhost.txt file is correct without and spaces or returns etc etc, still getting a very quick the operation timed out error. Was clean install of titanium.

Any suggestions?

When are you getting the error? There isn't much detail in the original post about when the error actually occurs. What OS are you running? And you are sure you followed this guide exactly?:

You might also check the FAQ in my sig for issues with playing. Could be DX9 not being installed or something.

And remember to disable anything that may block communication to port 9000 / 5998, 5999.

Trevius is right, you are not giving enough information. Help us help you, exactly what are you getting for an error message. Are you using the Titanium client ? Are you getting to the login screen, the character select screen ? Throw us a bone here.
