Problem with my server and EQ Underfoot client
I would like to start off saying thanks to everyone for the great information posted on this forum. It's been a great help to me and I found all the answers I've needed so far ...
... Except this one: I got my server up and running, and have been just messing around and having fun with the game I once loved for many years. In the process I found that any new spells I create just show up as Unknown in my Titianium client. So I got a copy of the Underfoot client, and I'm able to log in and play on the PEQ server and EZ Server, ect. just fine, but when I try to connect to my own server I get this: https://public.bay.livefilestore.com...ure.JPG?psid=1 EverQuest: Windows - Application Error The instruction at 0x775e8dc9 referenced memory at 0x00000014. The memory could not be written. So I'm pretty sure it's a problem with my server, I'm just not sure how to fix it. I found a lot of posts about people with a "memory could not be READ" issue, but not much on a "WRITTEN" issue. The ones about memory could not be read were mostly graphics resolution changes or maybe multi-core CPU problems. But I'm not sure those are my issues because I am able to login using that client on other servers and play. And I can log into my own server when using Titianium client and play. Thanks for your time and help! |
Are you using minilogin or eqemuloginserver?

So whichever one they used. Sorry, I don't remember setting up either. |
I just built a new x64 Windows server using those notes with no major problem. The only thing I have is a problem with toons getting to the Tutorial.
Can you connect to your own server with the tutorial button unchecked? |
