I can't make new characters
 

I go thru all the character select crap, but the character never shows up on the char select screen. It just freezes my EQ.

i cant get past the character creation
 

i cant get past the charater creation screen. it goes to submit the character then is frozen. i have tried this with my firewall down but it helped none. if anyone would care to help me in my problem i would be grateful!

i am running windows 98 cuz it seem like the most stable os!

as another thread reply has stated, the recent patch has broken eqemu, you have to wait till the next release.

Not sure about that though as I have not updated my EQemu version I use for it for awhile now. ( atleast since before the begining of Oct )

I did have EQemu .6 on it but decided to just go with .10 and got all the way to charecter select screen and in my world.exe cmd screen I get his as I go into the charecter select screen.

So after all that it goes thru and processes and then I get this as the screen refreshes but locks up and never adds the name, nadda anything.

Wrong size on OP_CharecterCreate. Got: 8444, Expected:8448

So I just click EQW off and it removed IP and such and when I try it again it does same thing only diff usually is I will try a diff race. But I always get the Unknown opcode when I goto the Charecter select screen.
