If you patch tonight/tommorow morning and find out your unable to login/create a character, your out of luck. Wait for the next version of EQEMu.

So, basically, only people who patch within these 6 hours will be able to play :p

ok, im just curious as to when the next version of eqemu will be released because i patched about....... 5 seconds before i read that post. after having patched yesterday during the correct time hehe, so im jsut wondering hen eqemu 3.11 or whatever it wil be will be released... thank

whenever the dev's get around to it. don't worry too much about it till PoP, and the patches cool down.

Someone mentioned "Incorrect Version" if you patched.

I just get stuck at character name verification, is that because of the patch also ?

This is gonna be a long one guys, don't expect an updated version in the next couple days at least. Adding support for a new expansion isn't an overnight ordeal :D If there's a new version in the next week, i'd be very impressed. And so should you. Go out and see the sun for a week, take in the nice fall (or whatever season it is where you live) air, and give the coders some time to look at what SoE screwed up

I picked a really good time to look into the Emu scene again .. I had to patch .. since I was patching from the CD version .. bah .. I guess I wait .. wanted to see how well the emu is doing .. I assume there is some reprecautions to posting a link to the older version .. so I won't ask for it .. unles it isnt .. heh

A friend just told me about this site and after wiping my harddrive i never reinstalled everquest. So ill just be waiting too, but thats ok, ill just read the SWG boards.

isen't it possible to "patch back" the local eq client installation? I guess most of us are only using her client installation for connection to an eqemu server!
I think it can't be a solution to watch this ping pong game for the future, isent it?

Ok - i am with Puck together new to the eqemu scene but to have allways the possibility to get an correct client installation is one of the base "must bees". Maybe we/you should release by time this kind of repatch for geting allways the right client encryption.

Haha come back to Eqemu only to find need to wait for next version a day after I come back lol oh well,what ya gonna do..too bad I didn't patch a day earlier,or else could of used system restore!
