Zeb's
Anyone know where to find the files for this relic of a server....It had some good stuff, and I remember he released everything for it.
John Adams had some of it, but seems as though it was lost to time. A shame too, I enjoyed the hell out of zeb.
Damn, I was thinking of bringing it back to life, and to continue what was the almighty Zeb server. :(
ooh please do , that was a amazing server :-)
See if this is the right one, been so long I can't remember for sure, but I had it laying around so...

I would like to see this Zeb server. Go Maze EQ go!
Should have this implemented on a test machine tonight around 10:30pm EST, I hope >.<
P.S, If need be, I can merge over to my dedicated hosting area, that's if, and only if, it will run correctly. |
Getting closer, I can actually get to the character select screen where it shows the original zeb characters, but still having incompatibility issues.\
Does anyone know what it takes to get this database up to date to be able to be hosted for our current Rev? |
There is a program called Toad for Mysql that can be used to get a difference between two databases then you can save the difference as an sql file. Might require some manual work to but it still might help.
Code:

Definitely will check this out, hopefully I can get this squared away to bring Zeb's back to the community.
Perhaps a little bit OT, but what was Zeb's like? I never had the opportunity to play that server.
Mostly all custom, had 100's of quests, albeit, for 4 years ago, they can be improved upon, but it was generally a custom-legit server, ran by a dedicated developer.
I use to have a copy of all the files but my HD was fried.
I have the files, it's just so outdated, that I have no clue how to get it up to work with the current rev, I've tried merging them, sourcing one over the other, and vice versa. No dice.
That version of the db is about 5 years old. Check your errors. I'm sure there has been a few sqls released, tables removed or added.. stuff like that.
