Spell Effect: Reduce Recast Time
 
Hey,

I have looked in the source but I can't see a spell effect that reduces the recast time of a spell, similar to how you can reduce the casting time of a spell. Anyone know anything about this? If it does not exist I will have a go at implementing it.

It does not exist.

Adding custom spell effects into the source is probably not a good idea since all the spell effect ID's are already utilized by live spell effects.

Of course you can do whatever you want on your own server ect.

Thanks Kayen! Spell effects run to 445, are you saying that it is not a good idea to go higher than that?

Even if you can get the new effect added to the source, the client will still need to be able to understand your changes. If that type of effect is not already built into the client, then I don't think spells will be refreshed on the client side for them to be able to click/cast them anyway.

It says reuse timer but it shortens recast times as well(ie type3 augs).

that sounds interesting please let me know if it works for those special recast items.
