Pearl514.dll
 
I imagine this is a simple fix. Ran the start.bat file I created using this guide (after getting port forwarding established).

It appeared to be working, but I kept getting errors pop up about pearl514.dll missing. I imagine its due to me using pearl 5.16.2.

I searched forum for Pearl514.dll and had no luck. I'll keep browsing in the mean time.

This is correct(mostly: it's Perl not Pearl). You're linking against a different version of Perl than you've got installed. That version of Perl is older and is looking for that installation that includes perl514.dll, you should probably have perl516.dll instead.

Sorry for the typo! I realized this as I was reading forums just a moment ago.

I have perl 5.16.2 installed, which is currently the latest edition. Do i need to uninstall it and revert to an older version? Sorry, I don't understand exactly.

The easiest thing to do would be to switch to 5.14. You can get it here: http://www.activestate.com/activeperl/downloads

Ok, Using cmake to recompile, then building a new solution with VS C++.

Not sure how much I need to redo. Cmake noticed my perl514 change.
