Typing xxx

So I have a question regarding how to or where and what to edit in order to change the default from [/say] i.e:

if I type in a (gm) command like #somecommand
it then comes out like [insert name] says #somecommand

So is there anyway to change the default ? so when I have to write some (gm) command it has to be like this : /#somecommand ?

Thanks !

not possible. slash commands are intercepted by the client and not passed on to the server.

You can do it with mq

Just bind some aliases to the # commands you want to use

This is what I did because I got tired of always having to hit enter prior to hitting #

Mostly I am just too lazy to break years of habits of typing / in EQ

Yes MacroQuest is what we are talking baout

if you get the default insallation of it from <url removed> (i think?) you can look in teh ini and see some examples of alias binding.. its REALLY simple to do and you can go to town with it,

It is against the rules of these forums to discuss MQ, and especially to provide links of where to get it.
