EQEMU launcher issue

Hello all.
I have loaded and used EQEmu several years back to play project 1999. However now I am on a different PC. I have downloaded a fresh install of titanium. The old process had me change files etc.. The new process does not call for any changes that I can see.

Is the new process really as simple as fresh install and then down load the new EQEmulauncher and play?

I ask because after I downloaded the EQEmulauncher it opens and ask me for the folder and then it does a file check. I find the project 1999 server and click play.

I then get a blank screen except for the mouse marker. The Mouse marker is changed to the EQ version.

I am stuck at this point. Did I not change a file or something? :-?

I am sure I am not doing something.

I hope this makes sense. I have been up most fo the night it is 6 am now.

EQEmulauncher is not a tool provided by eqemu project.
Dont use it, it is not required.
Look at the wiki and you will find what you need.

why would you just tell people not to use it, if it clearly makes the entry to eqemulator VERY easy... yes, there are some connection issues, but that is a problem i am dealing with (DDoSing scriptkiddies, who only ddos my server because of the launcher)..
