cannot log in to eq after changing password
 

After i changed my password two days ago, i found out that I cannot log in my account anymore.

I looked at the change password screen. It is obvious the password has been changed (8 chars password to 7 chars password) but the log in server does not seem to be responding.

I tried the old password, it does not work obviously.

Because the god damn admins won't let you recover your password, you're fucked. I have been trying to figure out my password for about a year now. I am in the exact same situation. It seems so stupid, because obviously I have access to the account, and obviously it hasn't been logged into since the password was changed.

Actually Ryan, that is temporary, I believe Rogean was in the testing stages of a SMS method of password retrieval. If you don't have a phone you can always create an account at http://pinger.com/textfree and use that as your SMS method. I hope his reset method comes in to play rather soon.

Hi King, I signed up for that a year ago.

Soon means glacial.

Basically, the only thing that would ever work is to hack your own account. There are only a few thousand possible permutations/typos of the password you intended, but it's is probably illegal.

Sorry to come off like a prick, but I've been trying to get this solved for a year now.
