RoF Weapon Graphics
 

Hey, I was wondering is it possible to get RoF Weapon Graphics into an SoD Client so I can see them on server I play on since I don't have way to get RoF?

You need the files that contain the graphic and then you just have to modify 2 plain text files.
However if you do not know someone that has the client and is willing to give you the files I do not know if you will be able to do anything as eq live recently changed the file format.

What would the files be?

And any guide about how to modify text doc?

Because I know someone with files, but they don't really know what to give me.

You can get the files from live I am pretty sure... I think thats what I did

You can yes, but like I said they modified the file and I am not sure if the client you use would recognize it.
I'm lazy and have not tried but its a good bet that as long as you modify the file mentioned below you could patch to live and get everything.
** Do not patch over your eqemu install. Sounds silly to say it but people do it all the time. **

Folder: everquest\uifiles\default
File: EQUI_Animations.xml --> need to modify
dragitemxxx.tga --> what eq used before February
dragitemxxx.dds --> what eq live uses now

Folder: \everquest\Resources
File: GlobalLoad.txt --> Need to modify, should only need to add the rofequip.eqg line but like I said, its been awhile since I played with it.

Edit: my current equi_animations.xml stops at dragitem120.tga which I changed from like 114 months ago and EQ Live goes up to like 198 now. More pretties I'm sure but I play on test and tbh not a single ROF graphic looks good to me.

Already fixed his issue, he's fine now.
